'The Flying Project' - Feiyue
For the development of 'The Flying Project' videos, Feiyue contacted two members of 'SpanKidz', a collective for artists, filmmakers and graphic designers. Those two selected talents were given absolute creative freedom throughout the production. Young filmmakers Julien Vray and Srinath C. Samarasinghe focused on Feiyue's literal meaning: flying forward.
On November 29th, a teaser started its journey around the net. The featured flying Feiyue sneakers broke all gravitational laws. New collection or technologic breakthrough? Many questions arose around this mysterious project.
To find the answer right now watch the video available online.
The making of video of the filming process will be posted online in mid-January 2011, revealing the special effects and secrets behind The Flying Project.

UNRAVEL: Knitwear in Fashion @ MOMU
Top pieces by national and international designers and labels (Ann Salens, Vivienne Westwood, Sonia Rykiel, Missoni) historic couture pieces (Schiaparelli, Patou, Chanel) as well as more avant-garde and cutting edge pieces by established designers and newcomers on the international fashion scene (Sandra Backlund, Maison Martin Margiela, Mark Fast), will sit side by side to reveal the richness and diveristy of knitwear in high fashion.
With Unravel: Knitwear in Fashion, MoMu and Woolmark proudly present a mix of contemporary and classic knitwear design houses, as well as young designers and historical garments. The exhibition will challenge certain established ideas and show that far from being old-fashioned and dowdy - knitting is highly versatile, luxurious and a continuing source of inspiration for high end fashion.

Carine Roitfeld to Leave French Vogue
Carine Roitfeld, the beloved and massively influential editor of French Vogue, will resign in a few weeks to focus on personal projects. Roitfeld helmed the mag for the past 10 years. Under her tenure, French Vogue became one of the most daring fashion publications, a hallmark for what was cool in the world of fashion.
“It’s 10 years that I’m editor of the magazine, I think it’s time to do something different,” Roitfeld told Cathy Horyn at the New York Times. “When everything is good, maybe I think it’s the time to do something else.”

This collection exudes casual chic, confort, freedom and minimalism.
Materials get softer, more supple, mat and casual than ever: washed or grainy leather, smooth or vintage nylon, croc or lizard prints ... all with a gentle feel.
The palette of pretty beige, desaturated colors and cold hues is brightened up by happy touches and ethnic pritns.

8+goals - fashion show
8 plus goals fashion show 2010 from Arts Square on Vimeo.
8+goals fashion show is a multi-artistic event which cleverly combines dance, fashion and music.
“ Open your heart ”
This is the message that 8+goals is striving to promote. The initiative to promote the United Nations Millennium Development Goals includes the organisation of shows and events so as to combat fatalism and indifference in the face of extreme poverty. By stimulating the interest of the media, as well as their own, it aims at reminding decision-makers of the need to achieve these goals by 2015.
