C'est toujours excitant de voir arriver dans sa mailbox un message de l'agent de Who Made Who qui t'annonce que le band repart en tournée ! C'est vrai, pour nous à LS qui avons déjà booké le groupe deux fois dans une autre vie, on peut dire que le trio sur scène est un des meilleurs souvenirs qu'on aie... Sans déconner, une énergie positive pareille, ce n'est pas courant.... Evidement qu'on a directement ouvert l'agenda pour leur trouver une place. C'est donc ce soir, une semaine pile avent la sortie officielle de leur brand new album que les boys de Who Made Who défendront leur nouveau bébé à Bruxelles. Et bien sûr, leurs incroyables reprises de Satisfactions ou Flat Beat seront aqu programme également.
Ceux là sur scène, si tu les rates c'est que tu n'as rien compris à l'art de la fête. C'est dit.

Het is altijd leuk om in je mailbox een bericht te krijgen van de agent van Who Made Who, die je laat weten dat de band terug op toernee vertrekt! Wij in LS, die de groep al twee keer hebben geboekt in een ander leven, kunnen gerust zeggen dat dit trio op het podium meemaken een van onze beste herinneringen is… Zonder zever, ze stralen een ongeziene positieve energie uit, wat niet dikwijls voorvalt. Natuurlijk hebben we direct in onze agenda gekeken om hun een plaatsje te bezorgen. Vanavond is het dus zover. Nauwelijks een week voor de officiële release van hun gloednieuwe album, komen de jongens van Who Made Who hun werkstuk verdedigen in Brussel. Ook hun ongelooflijke covers van Satisfaction of Flat Beat komen ongetwijfeld weer aan bod.
Als je dit niet live hebt meegemaakt weet je niets over de kunst van het feesten. Voilà, we hebben het gezegd.

Maison Martin Margiela ‘géométries variables’ in Milan

Since 2009, Maison Martin Margiela has been part of Milan's Salone del Mobile to present new editions produced by true experts in their field such as the 'white objects' edited by L'Atelier d'exercices, the Tabi-footprint rug by Chevalier Editions or furniture by cerruti baleri.

This year, the Maison reveals 'géométries variables' at cerruti baleri. The installation is built around the idea of 'pretence' with projected shadows playing l'oeil on backlit panels. The entire line 13 (objects & publications) is brought together within a white, black and beige living-room, including the new furniture:
'UNDERSIZED' - AN UNDERSIZED SOFA. In black leather, this two- or three-seat sofa plays with scale for an ultra-compact shape.

'SBILENCO' - AN 'UNSTABLE' TABLE. It comes in three versions - a coffee-table, a side-table or a console - in black ash wood or silver grey tanganika. Its seemingly shaky structure looks offset by a drawer balancing a clear glass top.

Creative Director Tomas Maier Lends His Night Vision to the Brand’s Mysterious New Film

A meditation on the romance of travel, the anonymity of hotel life and clandestine bedtime rituals, premiere marks Bottega Veneta’s debut foray into fashion films. The luxury leather brand’s creative director Tomas Maier, who splits time between his office in Milan and his home in Florida, drew from personal experience for the noir-infused short, directed by Christian Weber. “I spend ten days a month alone in a hotel, seeing people pass in the hallways, glimpsing them through windows or as they step out of the elevator,” he says. “You see these people, but you have no idea what their stories are, you can only guess. It’s about evoking that surreal state of mind you enter when you’re in an unfamiliar place.” Shot at New York’s Setai Hotel with an original score by Austin-based chamber-pop band Balmorhea, Viaggio Notturno (Night Journey) stars models Patricia van der Vliet and Terron Wood and highlights signature designs from Bottega Veneta’s permanent collection, including its Marco Polo hard-case luggage, woven leather Cabat bag and sleeping mask.
