Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2012 | Collection

To coincide with the release of Amy´s final album Lioness_ Hidden Treasures and continued support of Amy Winehouse Foundation; Fred Perry will be releasing a selection of pieces from the singer´s last collection for the brand. Referencing Amy´s love 50s Americana and art deco Miami, the collection features an exclusive print scattered with cadillacs, juke boxes and cats-eye sunglasses in a palette of pink mist, pale blue and black.


Under such circumstances the usual royalities and fees from the collection will be donated to The Amy Winehouse Foundation. Fred Perry will also be making a seasonal donation to the charity.

1987 by Casio G-Shock

"1987" by Casio G-Shock, is an urban retro-style video shot on the streets of New York City, the home of BMX icon Nigel Sylvester. The video, titled 1987 the year Nigel was born, celebrates a collaborative timepiece between Casio G-Shock and Nigel. As an adult, Nigel looks back on his year of birth as a time of great creative freedom and experimentation. The film was created to capture that spirit.

The cinematography takes reference from classic arcade games. The sound design draws spirit from the associated 16 bit soundtracks that emanated from the computers of that time. The graphic approach pays homage to Casio.

After a great, great party at AA Docks with killer sets from Ivan Smagghe, Kiki and Geoffroy Mugwump, we are back on the 10.12. For those who attended, we’d like to say we are truly sorry but had nothing to do with that annoying smell problem. AA Docks have guaranteed us it has been solved and won’t ever happen again ! Nevertheless the vibe was truly kicking and we had…a blast (Video on the way to prove it !)

So now for this new edition, we are truly excited to welcome UK dance-music LEGEND, Andrew Weatherall, a true wizard of musical re-invention (which is a rare breed in these sad, stereotyped “one-genre, one-sound’ days). Yes, the producer behind Primal Scream’s “Screamadelica” classic album (or more recently for great acts such as Warpaint or Fuck Buttons) and tons of amazing records as Two Lone Swordsmen or Sabres of Paradise (on Warp) and many, many different aliases, will lead the way of a truly stellar line-up, that also comprehends one of our favorite dj’s, the Kompakt mainstay and Total Confusion supremo, Mr Tobias Thomas (who really launched Leftorium with a bang, back in february and is here again by Leftist public demand !) plus Leftoriumist executive Geoffroy Mugwump (Kompakt), highly excited to finally welcome Sir Weatherall at one of his parties too.

After some 15 years, the D-LITE parties have made their comeback and have invited exceptional artists (DJ’s & VJ's) from the Brussels and international electro scene.

Some of you are familiar with these mythical parties, others weren’t born yet but one thing is sure, they have impressed a whole generation such as the Pulp in Paris …

The key ring lanyard by Givenchy S/S 12

Since the Spring/Summer 2009 season, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci’s vision has been defined by urban masculinity, sportswear influences, and a unique re-interpretation of classic tailoring. An accessory normally associated with the surfing world has become signature motif of the latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection: the lanyard key ring.

Woven in a nylon jacquard with the Givenchy logo, the lanyard features a key ring. It’s exclusively-designed snap hook closure system is the an extension of the trademark Givenchy hardware concept, Obsedia. Typically found on bags, jewelry, and belts, the industrially graphic Obsedia buckle is reworked here as a key ring.

In white, aqua or khaki, the key ring lanyard will be available in worldwide Givenchy stores from February.
