Last night, the Versace for H&M collection was launched at a celebrity packed event in New York.

The Versace for H&M collection was shown on the catwalk alongside with some iconic pieces created just for this exclusive show.
The event took place in a specially designed building on the Hudson River, New York. A glamorous after-party followed in true Versace style for hours...

Jessica Alba, Blake Lively, Alexander Wang, Linda Evangelista, Emma Roberts, Uma Thurman and Ke$ha joined Donatella Versace.

The Versace for H&M collection goes on sale at around 300 stores worldwide and online on November 17th.

After rockin' Brussels for 7 years, Courts Mais Trash proudly goes to Liege. The rendezvous for independant and off-the-chart short movies takes its quarter at the Zone, the most rock'n'roll place of the city. After reviewing the hundreds of movies we've screened throughout the years, we've selected only the creme de la creme for this very special edition.
Assembled under the theme "It's fantastic", the program will go from horror to sci-fi, from bloody hallucinations to trashy fairy tales. And we'll even show some "100% made in Liege" movies.

Among others :  « Le soulier était trop petit » by Catherine Aïra, the queer « Stuffed from outer space » by Peg, « I Am So Sorry » by Michael Jacquet. The bloody « L’accouchement de Wendy » by Dewis Eizykman, « Bomb Disaster » by Pierre Teulières, « La mauvaise erreur » by Xavier Hibon…

20 Hz observes a geo-magnetic storm occurring in the Earth's upper atmosphere. Working with data collected from the CARISMA radio array and interpreted as audio, we hear tweeting and rumbles caused by incoming solar wind, captured at the frequency of 20 Hertz. Generated directly by the sound, tangible and sculptural forms emerge suggestive of scientific visualisations. As different frequencies interact both visually and aurally, complex patterns emerge to create interference phenomena that probe the limits of our perception.

BELGIANS DO IT BETTER… RADIO SOULWAX RELEASES NEW BEAT

There was a brief period between 1987 and 1989 where Belgium, of all places, was pushing the envelope in electronic music. It preceded England's 'second summer of love' and was probably our equivalent of it, in that a whole generation's lives quite rapidly became based around taking ecstasy, dressing up, going clubbing and dancing to an odd, slowed down hypnotic mix of New Wave, Acid, EBM and everything else that sounded good. 



New Beat became a real craze that would attract thousands of ravers from all over Europe to Belgium's newly thriving club scene every weekend and inspired hundreds of releases that stormed the Belgian charts, regardless of it being completely ignored by the media and radio because it was not seen as "real" music. It was counterculture of the cheapest kind and due to its massive success, it quickly became very cheesy and novelty based, but there was an amazing side to New Beat that was dark and messed up and this mix is based on those releases, with a few hits thrown in for good measure.

Embrace - Wouters & Hendrix for Delvaux.

Maison Delvaux regularly invites external designers to the Delvaux Studio to create a stylised item with its own craft workers.

This time Delvaux invited Katrin Wouters and Karen Hendrix, a creative duo famous for their own style of jewellery. For more than 25 years these two stylists have continually surprised with their adventurous ideas and their sophistication and their on-going adaptation of old techniques. The result of this collaboration?

"Embrace": a unique bracelet marrying the worlds of the fine leatherworker and the goldsmith. The wide bracelet, which hugs the arm, is created from a piece of leather carefully selected by Delvaux. Wouters & Hendrix, have recreated the structure and pores of supple leather in silver. 

This creation will be on sale from 17th November in the Delvaux boutiques in Brussels, Antwerp, Knokke and on www.delvaux.com as well as in the Wouters&Hendrix jewellery shops in Brussels and Antwerp. Price: 2.100 €

The H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection

This Christmas, one of the most awaited films has premiere "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" at the cinemas around the world (from the Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, directed by David Fincher).

Trish Summerville, the costume designer for this film, has made an H&M Dragon Tatto Collection - a women's collection with attitude. It's dark, urban feeling with leather jackets and torn jeans is inspired by the film's anti-heroine, Lisbeth Salander. Trish Summerville is one the top costume designers in Hollywood, designing for both movies, celebrities, and artists. 

The H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection debuts exclusively at the agenda-setting boutique "Colette" in Paris on November 28. It is available worldwide as from December 14 in H&M / Divided departments, as well as online.

Fifty years ago, it radicalised the appreciation of film and changed the way people judged movies. Or, to be more precise, the way some people judged some movies. Five years of Hercules are proof that David and Francesco have created a magazine that was just about as personal as you could imagine. Even when it was someone else taking the pictures and doing the styling, it was still recognisably their point of view: physical, brazenly sensual, celebratory. Sunny, funny and campy too. Call it balearoticism.
