EY! MAGATEEN addresses the energy and power of young age. It's an exciting, sexy, open, colorful and fun publication that celebrates the magnificent vitality of youth, and especially of young boys, most of them aged between 16 and 23 years old.
Each new issue is about a specific country or a city. The group of young people on display in EY! MAGATEEN is a mix of unknowns, models, emerging artists, young actors, promising athletes… The most interesting and exciting boys -and occasionally some girls- from each location.
Each new issue is shot only by one photographer, who is free to present his or her own vision of what it’s like to be a local youth, and as such largely serves as each issue's graphic editor.
The original name of this magateen -Electric Youth!- was taken from the eponymous track written and performed in 1989 by Debbie Gibson, as a tribute to its author.
