SISLEY ART PROJECT!
The American Glenn O'Brien, writer, journalist, dj, artist himself: has asked 17 contemporary artists, all belonging to the Pop Art movement and often disciples of Andy Warhol, to customize a Sisley leather jacket.

Organisé par Glenn O’Brien et présenté à l’occasion de la Semaine de la Mode de Milan, le projet fera ensuite l’objet d’une exposition et d’une vente aux enchères
en faveur du Musée Andy Warhol
Sisley, la marque du Groupe Benetton tournée vers la mode d’avant-garde, annonce une exposition et une vente aux enchères de blousons de motards peints par des artistes célèbres dont les recettes seront versées au Musée Andy Warhol. Organisé par Glenn O’Brien, le projet – 18 blousons portant la griffe de 17 artistes – sera inauguré le 22 septembre pendant la Semaine de la Mode de Milan. L’exposition sera ensuite transférée au Musée Andy Warhol. Au début du mois de novembre, les blousons seront mis aux enchères et les recettes seront reversées au musée.
Le blouson de motard “customisé” est un thème récurrent de la culture pop, de celui de Marlon Brando dans “L’Equipée sauvage” aux couleurs des fameuses bandes de motards américaines, aux vestes des artistes et des rock stars de la scène punk des années soixante-dix et quatre-vingt. Ayant lui-même imposé son style avec ses vestes de cuir, ses jeans, ses lunettes noires et ses bottes Beatle, Andy Warhol collectionnait lui aussi avec passion les blousons “bombers”. Au début des années quatre-vingt, il possédait une collection de vestes en cuir, dont une sur laquelle l’artiste new wave Stefano avait peint son portrait et celui de Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Quelques artistes punk et new wave comme Stefano Castronovo, Ronnie Cutrone, Jane Dickson, Duncan Hannah, Robert Hawkins, Kenny Scharf et Walter Steding, et des personnalités du “graffiti art” original comme Frederick “Fab Five Freddy” Brathwaite, Lee Quinones et Ouattara Watts ont contribué à cette exposition. Au cœur de la nouvelle génération, nous pouvons citer également des artistes prestigieux tels que Rita Ackermann, Dan Colen, Brad Kahlhamer, Nate Lowman, Marco Perego et Tom Sachs.

KINGS OF LEON's NEW RECORD / COME AROUND SUNDOWN
RCA Records is excited to announce that Kings of Leon will release the highly anticipated fifth album, Come Around Sundown, on October 19, 2010 in North America and October 18 in the UK. It was recorded in New York at Avatar Studios and produced once again by Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King.
Come Around Sundown is the follow-up to the hugely successful Only By The Night, which sold over six million copies worldwide and garnered four Grammy Awards. It's yet another bold and expansive statement by the Nashville, Tennessee-based quartet who, in the last two years, have become one of the biggest bands in the world; also one of the most creatively restless.
As proven throughout their storied career, Kings of Leon love to work. Whether writing, recording or touring, the band is constantly in motion. Once they finished touring in support of Only By The Night at the end of October of 2009, they went back in the studio to record in February 2010. This past June, they returned to their home state with a triumphant headlining slot at the prestigious Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, and then began a North American shed tour in July that will end on September 23. In two weeks, the band will headline the Outside Lands Music & Arts festival in San Francisco's legendary Golden Gate Park.

Burlesque - The first trailer
Burlesque is the high anticipated movie musical starring Cher, Stanley Tucci and in her first movie role Christina Aguilera.
The story is simple: A small-town girl (Aguilera) ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer (Cher).

Mobilier, objets, produits industriels, graphisme, architecture : le spectre des applications de cette discipline industrielle est vaste. Et touche un large public. Pour la quatrième année consécutive, une foule d’associations, institutions et autres organisations indépendantes ont accordé leurs violons pour proposer, entre le 9 septembre et le 30septembre 2010, un programme riche et varié : expositions, conférences, vernissages, projections de films, débats, visites d’ateliers de designers, marché aux puces, circuits urbains, pecha kucha…

Hot Chip have announced the release of an EP of new versions of tracks from their hugely acclaimed album ‘One Life Stand’ which is available 6th September 2010.
Titled ‘We Have Remixes’, it features alternative versions of tracks by inspirational producers. From Todd Edwards’ space age garage retake on ‘Hand Me Down Your Love ‘to Osborne’s lounge house version of ‘Take It In’; Caribou’s electro-acid fried reconstruction of ‘Brothers’ to Hot City’s deranged rave revival attack on ‘We Have Love’, ‘We Have Remixes’ manages to pull together a selection of the very best dancefloor manipulators in the world right now. An essential counterpart to one of the albums of the year.

O’Neill Surf Skate Snow & Wake Fest...
La première journée du O'Neill Surf Skate Snow & Wake Fest à Blankenberge était très réussie. Plus de 180 garçons ont pu goûter de tous les sports de planche : surf sur vagues, snowboard, skate, wavesurf, stand up paddle et wakeboard. Les champions belges de la planche se sont mesurés lors de ce superbe spectacle.
Les grandes attractions étaient sans aucun doute la piste de snowboard et la vague high-tech Wavesurfer. Cet appareil extraordinaire, de fabrication belge, permet de planer sur l'eau, même quand la mer ne présente pas de houle.
