Who is Applescal?
We can try to tell you this in words.
But please... Check out hismusic, that is way more interesting then this biography.
We can say that Applescal's real name is Pascal Terstappen, that he's a 22 year oldproducer based in Amsterdam and that he loves to make music of course.
On stage, he only plays live, which means he is not a dj, but a live performer.
He grew up in Breda before he moved to Amsterdam.
Here, he came in touch with electronic music and software synthesizers at the age of 14.
Without any musical background andloads of dedication he learned to make music by himself, in a small loft at his parentsplace.
His first ep got released on the dutch imprint Manual Music (2007). A few more ep's andremixes followed on Deep Focus and Groove Collection.
The reactions were fine and theDutch underground scene was quiet happy with this new young producer.

After the debut album, Applescal remixed Extrawelt and Ricardo Tobar. Also HernanCattaneo remixed Applescal's track 'Describe the Doc' for his latest Renaissence cd.
John Digweed and Laurent Garnier played his music again and a few other interesting dj's followed.

So far so good, but the story continues, to the future this time. In April 2010 Applescal's new album A Mishmash of Changing Moods will finds his way into the world.
