Dead Man Talking - Trailer

The law does not specify the length of the last statement, thus he will  take advantage of this legal vacuum and engage in a final monologue to escape the sentence. Scripts that should be a formality will then become the most incredible political and media issue at the heart of an election campaign that can be described as amazing, to say the less.



Dead Man Talking is a Belgian film which will be released the 3rd october 2012 in cinema.  The director and main actor is Patrick Ridremont.

CONTEST!!! BRUSSELS SUMMER FESTIVAL - 11th Edition ...

Now firmly implanted in the Royal district, the Brussels Summer Festival (2012 edition) will run from August 10 until August 19. Popular yet cultural event, the Brussels Summer Festival has seen its reputation grows steadily both in Belgium and abroad since its first edition. The creation, in the previous edition, of an urban village going from the Place Royale to the Boulevard de l'Empereur has also strengthened the identity of the festival and met very enthusiastic reactions from last year's participants. This year, the three scenes will be set on Museum Square, Palace Square and the Mont des Arts and will host rich and eclectic musical shows;)
The classical music lovers will not be forgotten with the 2012 edition of Classissimo! All information regarding Classissimo are available at www.classissimo.be.

Belgian unborn babies support African unborn babies.

SOS Children’s Villages is calling on unborn babies in Belgium, to do something about the thousands of unborn babies in Africa that do not survive their own birth. Pregnant mothers have been recruited to use the in utero movements of their unborn children to paint pictures, which are then sold to raise funds. You can bid on the works on www.unbornartists.com. The exhibition will soon be displayed in the gallery of Isabelle de Borchgrave.

SOS children’s villages also provides do-it-yourself-packs for mothers who want to make an artwork with their unborn baby, at home. They can use it to decorate the baby’s room or even use the artwork as a birthcard. The do-it-yourself packs are being sold online, in hospitalshops and at several gynaecology practices.

Dose of music: Willow – We the young

Today I'm going to talk about a discovery I made and I'm very proud of. 
The band is called « Willow » and is simply the best Belgian band I heard  for a while !
I'm listening to tons of sounds every week, and well I often fall on some « great » bands. But to be honest, many of those great bands are already forgotten the next week.
But once in a while, there's  that one band I'm pretty sure I'll still be listening to months from that moment !  Jackpot !



So why is Willow that awesome ? Because firstly they don't sound « belgian ». Not that I don't like belgian sounds, but it's clearly often « too recognizable ». When I heard « We the young » for the first time I just told myself « My gosh what a splendid new british band » !
Seriously after now numerous listenings I can't stop myself thinking that these guys are some kind of « White Lies with guts ! ». And I'm fond of White Lies !

Sincerely the opening title « Gold », is what it says ! Golden ! Punchy, catchy, sunny, whatever, awesome ! And the big surprise, the rest of the LP is nearly as good.
And nearly as good is already way above 80% of the other bands releasings !
There are several real pop jewels on this record, so it would be a crime to forget mentionning « Weeping giants » , «We walk alone » or « Two children ».


My last words will be in french because I think it sounds so much better : Ces gars, c'est vraiment mon coup de coeur du moment !

For this discovery of the day, we don't need no plane, the train will do, because we stay in Belgium: direction Antwerp ! 
The purpose today is not to shop, it's all about music ! We move there for a fresh local new band that I discovered a few days ago and that I already love ! 



Bed rugs are four young folks who love smooth rock, americana and wide open spaces ! Their first single « What does it mean ? » can be heard on many flemish radio playlist these days and I hope they will soon be on the french speaking radios. Waiting for this moment, just enjoy their first video, or the acoustic that goes along ! 
On a bike or in a sofa, enjoy it anyway you want !

BIB LOVE MUSIC & PROPULSE FESTIVAL - February 2012

Propulse Festival replaces the former Boutik Rock. From 1st to 4th February, Botanique will feature the best Made in Belgium music!


More than 30 concerts with Kiss & Drive, Fastlane Candies, Gaëtan Streel, Pale Grey, Noa Moon, Veence Hanao, Dynamic, Uman, Compuphonic, etc. Propulse will include special nights with a focus on metal music (Thursday), a hip-hop day (Saturday) and an electro party to close the festival, on Saturday evening.
