FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!! - CONVERSE -
Another day, another CONVERSE emergency case. Brussels
Is Burning found yet another case. Here are a few pictures that might help you
with finding the location.
The CONVERSE ‘IN CASE OF EMERGENCY’ boxes will not occupy the city of Brussels forever, so if you
are in Brussels, open your eyes, soak up the city and who knows…you might end
up going home with a fresh pair of CONVERSE OUTSIDERS boots.
Good luck!!
PS: Apparently some of the ICOE boxes in Brussels were taken!!! CONVERSE asked us to spread the message that there will be a fun reward for the brave souls who give CONVERSE their emergency cases back!

PSSST….WE FOUND SOME MORE!!! - CONVERSE
This is what we found out. The cases are part of a CONVERSE guerrilla campaign called IN CASE OF EMERGENCY (or COLD ) and apparently this happened in London as well! Check this post :
http://dailygrindclothing.com/2011/10/converse-in-case-of-emergency-campaign/
This means that there will be more locations in Brussels with the CONVERSE emergency cases and therefore more shoes!!
We already found another location with a fresh pair of CONVERSE Outsider boots, so here are a few pictures that might help you with finding the location.
Now all you have to do is grab them and get chucked!
We’ll be back with more CONVERSE guerrilla news soon….

KRISVANASSCHE introduces six new styles of sunglasses
Menswear designer Kris Van Assche presents his first line of sunglasses in collaboration with Linda Farrow. KRISVANASSCHE introduces six new styles of sunglasses in his signature masculine and sober style. All glasses are made of high quality titanium, giving an industrial feel to the collection.
Kris Van Assche has created six designs available in four color combinations: metallic black, silver metal, matte brown and brushed metal. For this last variation, the sleek lines are given a raw edge with bluish soldering burn marks. Titanium nose pads and KRISVANASSCHE branded titanium tips add to the industrial feel, while a clear acetate temple illustrates the designer’s attention to detail while maintaining effortless elegance.
The strong brand identity is continued in the logo lasered on to the tough nylon lenses.
The KRISVANASSCHE line, presented for the first time on the 24th of June during Paris Fashion week, will be available from February 2012 through a selection of KRISVANASSCHE and LINDA FARROW retailers.

Diesel Spring/Summer Menswear 2012- Work Hard. Play Hard.
The SS’12 Preview is a dressy vintage workwear inspired collection, that
presents a bold contrasting style, a clash of clean formal and dirty
functional garments, and encapsulating both Diesel’s ‘work hard’ and ‘play hard’ ethics.
Clean cut formal blazers, dressy shirts with metallic sequins and bow-ties, that create a dressy edge, are set in contrast to dirty treated denim pants, overalls and chinos from the opposing world of workwear. The collection is an exercise in authenticity: both as an expression of Diesel’s ‘Jeans and Workwear’ heritage, and in its attention to genuine workwear detailing, that can be seen in clean lines and proportions, triple stitching and authentic labeling. Treated leathers and biker jackets bring a healthy dose of tough Diesel rock attitude to looks perfect for the party season.
The color palette ranges from pollution inspired ecru and grays, clean blacks and whites, staple Diesel indigos, and seasonal tobacco brown highlights. Graphics reflect a dusty industrial mood, but with positive ‘clean living’ 50’s twist. Shiny metallic details are applied on top of heavily treated fabrics: herringbone, dirty indigo denim, mixed leather and felt, to further highlight the clash between the “dirty” and the “clean”.
A bold style concept that works from dust ‘till dawn.

LOOK WHAT WE FOUND! - CONVERSE
Ok. You will never believe this. While walking the streets of Brussels this morning we stumbled upon something that looks like a CONVERSE emergency case with shoes in them. We wanted to take a picture but the minute we took our camera out, a man walked by the emergency case and took out the Converse shoes and walked away. WITH the shoes!!
The only thing that is left is this empty case….
How did this emergency case get there?
Are there any more cases?
And will there be CONVERSE shoes in them…?

Tyra Banks: Strike the Pose
Tyra Banks: Strike the Pose on Nowness.com.
Photographer Marcus Gaab Captures the Former Supermodel Channeling Crazy Chic
Supermodel, TV personality and newly published author Tyra Banks stars
as the body-popping, face-pulling subject of Marcus Gaab’s new fashion
short for the latest issue of I Love You Magazine.
Transformed into an empowered jitterbug with flat-top hair, yolk-yellow
eye shadow and an unashamedly 80s wardrobe, Banks danced spontaneously
and made off-the-cuff emotive declarations of love (and hate!) in the
low Los Angeles light.
“I just told her to perform, do her thing and to stop when she felt
like,” says Gaab. “But she didn’t stop, she kept on voguing. There was
no rehearsal; she invented the whole thing while we were there.”
Best known as the sassy and energetic host of guilty pleasure America’s
Next Top Model and her self-titled chat show that ended in 2009, beneath
the caricature Banks is a shrewd business woman, running a successful
production company, attending Harvard Business School, and boasting a
built-in brand that eclipses most ex-supermodels.
“When I was a little girl and went to Disneyland, I didn’t know that
all this was from Walt Disney,” said Banks, revealing her surprising
idol. “That’s what I want to be. Me being behind the scenes, the
business woman, creating new stars, products, projects.”

The Invisible Architect - 1000names
The Invisible Architect is the third full-length album by like minded production duo and long-term friends 1000names. Unlike their previous releases, which focused more on technology and machinery, they drew their inspiration for this album from the unconscious moments that just happen during live shows or studio improvisations, those happy accidents when the music emerges out of the chaos with no traceable origin. In these unconscious moments, it seems, the invisible architect – a mysterious natural power – creates this untouched and raw music, almost like the geological formation of rocks in a mountain or the trees in a forest are formed by the fundamental forces of nature.
In their own words: “It’s a mystery where the music comes from and why it sounds the way it does. We look for the answer in the garden of the invisible architect – and try just to be…“

Stop The Hate / Jonah Mowry
Jonah Wrote:
To all my friends and supporters, I made this video 4 months ago just before school was about to start. I was 13. It was a very emotionally dark time in my life. I made the video at 4:00am in the morning; I hadn't been sleeping at night for a long time, too many things going on in my head. I was dreading going back to school and I had not come out to my family yet. Only my closest friends knew. I didn't know how to say what I needed to say. All I could think about were all the bad things that had been happening at school last year, every year for that matter. I just couldn't bare to go through that anymore. I was done being fake happy, pretending hateful words didn't hurt, done hiding it from my family.
So this video was made for my friends that had moved on to High School who were worried for me, to say to them that I was going to take a stand, and to the haters at my middle school that I'm not going anywhere. I am who I am. I posted the video here and told people were to find it. That was it.
My friends were moved by the video and thought I did something important. I was encouraged to upload it to my Facebook page so more people could see it. Maybe it could help someone else going through the same thing. So I linked it Dec. 1st. My Parents saw it for the first time Dec, 2nd.
Then..... all this happened.
I never expected in a million years that it would have such a wonderful impact on so many people. I am truly humbled and truly thankful for all the love, encouragement and support from people all over the world. It's been incredibly overwhelming. I don't know what to say. Thank you so, so much!
Lastly, yes you have seen me happy in a couple short videos replies I posted; I would think that would be a good thing , and yes I do have friends, my High School friends, and I have made friends because when I came out they realized that they had hurt me and that they fealt sorry. The video is real, and true.
In the last few months everything eventually came out in the open, I felt a huge weight off my shoulders; I'm happy, I'm excepted for who I am, I'm more confident and feel stronger every day.
Thank you all, Love and peace to all who are hurting.
Jonah Mowry

We supports Courts mais trash - Saison#7 Part.2
For the second projection of the season, we'll go with the strange, the absurd, in short: a fourth dimension extravaganza. Our time has given birth to some 100% weird directors in England, Switzerland, and of course our surreal kingdom. The Belgian representative par excellence : Jean-Jacques Rousseau. He will be there in person to present our favorite movie in his long filmography "Revenge of the Sacristan Cannibal.
>
You will also watch : "The world laughs and farts" by Stefan Kinoïte Dumont, "Chronicles of bad luck" by Osamn Cerfon, "Anthropo-Fragmentation" by Johann Sebastian Groult, the decadent "Employee of the Month" by Clement Cornu and a movie that might succeeds to disgust fans of gore "Hunger 2 death" by Francis Yagopian, etc..
