MOTEK's 'DRAGONS' NEW ALBUM
Two years after the warmly received breakthrough album ‘Port Sunshine’, the audiovisual collective MOTEK is proud to present it’s follow up album ‘DRAGONS’, to be released Friday, November 5th 2010 . ‘DRAGONS’ is the result of a year long intensive rehearsals which laid the foundations of what was to become an even better and stronger collective of songs than it’s predecessor. Playful and powerful jam sessions resulted into 9 tracks, of which ‘Abused’, a new song packed with industrial mystery and heavy romantic hooks, was chosen as a ‘buzz track’ and released on May 17th, 2010.
‘DRAGONS’ was recorded over the course of several months at Cultuurkapel 'De Schaduw', Ardooie and at MOTEKplanet, Erembodegem. The main MOTEK line up consists of Wout Roelants (guitar, piano, vocals), Steven Biebaut (bass, vocals) and Ken de Cooman (drums).
Additional guests on the album are Joris Caluwaerts, Philipp Weies, Evan Roy, Roel Van Camp and Isabelle Dauw.
‘DRAGONS’ is produced by Patrick Van Neck and MOTEK, recorded and mixed by Patrick Van Neck and mastered by Karel De Backer.
‘DRAGONS’ will be released on November 5th, 2010. It will be preceded by the lead single ‘Motives’, a fitting prelude hitting the airwaves from September 27th onwards.
