Last sunday Brusselsisburning.be had the pleasure to assist at the smart future minds awards in Brussels which was "The" place to be for dialogue and meetings around the theme “The Future of City”. 10 Projects were presented at the smart urban stage (http://blog.smart-urban-stage.com)
and the winner is... WE FOREST! The interactive application that helps to reforest the planet won the first prize.
Behind “WE FOREST” lies a challenge: reforestation. Developing a mix of games and social networking, the project aims to initiate the planting of 20 million square kilometres of forest by 2020. When the virtual world helps the real world, it gives rise to high ambitions!
The second prize went to TALKING TREE and the third to BIOFIXATION.
